As a kid I either wanted to be a spy or an author and while I still think I'm due for a call from whoever the new Bond is any day now, I decided that being an author is probably safer for everyone!

I’ve loved romantic comedies for as long as I can remember.

The tension. The banter. The inevitable ‘click’ moment that inevitably leads to a declaration of love (that may or may not go to plan). I love it all.

But as much as I adored those stories, I didn’t always feel represented or necessarily see women who looked or sounded like me at the centre of them. I grew up falling in love with these amazing fictional couples and thinking I want to write something that teenage and adult me can see myself in.

So eventually, I decided to write the stories I wanted to read.
